Our employees are bound by strict privacy regulations and are constantly monitored accordingly.

When executing agreements, we naturally work with partners, such as service providers. Hotel Kruller only works with reliable partners who apply the same privacy standards. Your personal data is only provided, when really necessary and under strict privacy conditions.

1. What exactly are personal data?
Your data are collected by Hotel Kruller Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is considered to be one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by means of an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more elements characterizing physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity

2. What data does Hotel Kruller collect and how is it used?
When you sign up for one of our services, we ask you to provide personal data. This data is used to perform the service. You provide us with your data when you check in with us, complete a survey or when you sign up to receive newsletters, for example. Furthermore, we receive your data through the websites, the booking system as well as through social media.

We process personal data in order to (be able to) fulfill the agreement with you. This allows us to manage your bookings and provide you with relevant information. If you wish, you will receive regular marketing messages from us, via newsletters or otherwise. We measure your satisfaction and seek solutions if you are not (entirely) satisfied. For the purpose of our product development, we keep statistics. This helps us to maintain the relationship with you as well as to acquire new customers. Analyzing and examining personal data is necessary to develop and improve our products and services; in short, to serve you (even) better.

We do not share your personal data with third parties unless it is necessary for the performance of the agreement or internal business operations. Your personal data is never offered for sale by us.

In order to send newsletters (by name), Hotel Kruller shares first and last names and email addresses with Mailchimp (certified processor). Mailchimp uses this data to send and name the newsletter. In addition, Mailchimp provides insights into who opens the newsletters and what people click on. The storage of your data is indefinite. In fact, you can unsubscribe whenever you want via the link at the bottom of the newsletters or by sending an email to info@kruller.nl

Grand Café Hotel Kruller makes use of Google Analytics. For this purpose, IP addresses and accounts are linked to actions on our websites. This data is taken outside the EU.

3. Where does Kruller store my data?
Partly for the sake of your personal data, we ensure safe and sound business practices. The data is stored on Hotel Kruller’s own secure servers or those of a third party. We will not combine this data with other personal data in our possession.

Because the transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure, we and the third parties with whom we work cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website. Any transmission is therefore at your own risk.

Occasionally, our websites contain links to websites of our partner networks. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please be aware that these websites have their own privacy policies and therefore we are not responsible or liable for these policies.

When you send e-mail or other messages to us, we may retain those messages. Sometimes we will ask you for your personal information relevant to the situation at hand. 4. How long will my personal data be kept?
The data collected by Hotel Kruller are used and kept for the duration stipulated by law. We keep your personal data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which we hold the data. That is to meet your wishes and needs or to comply with our legal obligations. Once we no longer need your data, it is deleted from our systems or anonymized so that your identity can no longer be derived from it.

We retain personal data relating to a customer seven years after the relationship has ended. Personal data of potential customers who have not yet been contacted are retained six months after collection. Personal data of potential customers who have indicated a desire to contact us will be retained for two years.

We will retain your information for as long as you are our client. This means that we will keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also interpret this as a request to forget. We are required by applicable administrative requirements to retain invoices containing your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for the duration of the applicable term. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents we have produced as a result of your assignment.

Within 1 month of the request submitted, you will receive a response to your request. Depending on the complexity of the requests and the number of requests, this deadline may be extended by 2 months if necessary.

This Privacy Statement is dated October 29, 2019. Any changes or additions to the Privacy Statement will be made public immediately.
